Macon is actually a larger city in Burgundy. Of course, it is also the name of the most Southern region of Burgundy in which the city of Macon is located. The Macon Villages wines are not actually made in the city of Macon. They are made in numerous small towns outside of the city of Macon. We carry 2 winemakers’ examples of white wines that are labeled under the Macon Villages name. They have different flavor characteristics to appeal to different palates, but both represent wonderful value.
