Chassagne-Montrachet

Chassagne-Montrachet is not only famous for its wines, but also for its rock quarry. For most, it is undoubtedly one of the world’s most famous white wine towns. But there is a significant amount of quality red wines made in Chassagne-Montrachet, too. The white wines are especially known for their richness and white flower flavors. At the same time, they are racy, elegant, and powerful. An incredible combination. Of the 5 Grand Cru Montrachet vineyards, the Criots-Batard-Montrachet vineyard is located entirely within Chassagne-Montrachet. Not quite half of the Batard Montrachet and the Montrachet vineyards are in Chassagne-Montrachet.

We have 2 winemakers in Chassagne-Montrachet. One makes some of the absolute best classic white wines from the region as well as a tasty red wine. The other makes traditional Burgundian wines, both red and white. All of these wines are deserving of their famous pedigree.
